Week six of the 2025 NFL season

Live coverage includes text commentary for Sunday's games via multiple platforms, starting with Denver Broncos v New York Jets in London (kicking off at 2 PM BST). Additionally, radio commentary is available on select stations for a separate game (beginning at 9 PM BST).

We're in the sixth week of the football calendar , following last week's talk about the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles being possible championship contenders, they both lost their perfect starts.

Striking in those games was the number of infractions both conceded. Philadelphia committed them in key moments so they kind of beat themselves having led 17-3 entering the fourth period against Denver, set to play in London this weekend.

But it proved positive to observe how Denver's QB Bo Nix was able to overcome that deficit before lead three scoring drives in three attempts during the final period, securing the game 21-17.

The Broncos boast the top defender in CB their star corner. They are number one in goal-line defense, while Philadelphia are number one in red zone offence, yet the Broncos won that battle.

They executed effective strategies in terms of disguised blitzes. They did not necessarily rushing extra pass rushers instead they might position two linebackers in the 'A' gap then drop them out and send a slot defender from the outside.

At the start of the season, we said on a program how Denver could be this season's surprise contenders. They finished the previous year well then did a good job in continuing that momentum.

Could Denver be this season's underdog story?

New tight end their tight end has excelled significantly and new running back their rusher is a player the team trusts. He's currently 5th league-wide for rushing yards (402) and tied for fourth for rushing touchdowns (four).

It's impressive that the coach Sean Payton displays "RUSH!" at the top on his call sheet.

This demonstrates that Denver are a squad aiming to run first, because one can achieve much off the back of that. It reduces down the pass rush while maintains in positive down and distances.

This has benefited QB the young passer, who entered into the league as the 12th overall draft pick in the prior draft, passing for 29 touchdown passes – just behind a star QB for the rookie record (31 in 2020).

Josh Allen and Herbert have the arm strength to throw all over, however they lack in the same way that Nix has. He boasts exceptional passing ability, a unique trait, and he's so athletic.

His strengths are his movement, the capacity to throw on the run, and using different arm angles to deliver the pass as he moves outside protection, on rollouts. He is able to deliver precision throws across the middle or over the corner.

As a rookie QB, at 25, he displays a lot of poise in the pocket and isn't really fazed by the blitz. He aims to evade a sack whenever possible and is able pass under pressure. He possesses sharp intelligence and remains quick to decide.

When you constantly run the ball it consumes time and makes the defence to be in play extended periods, and if you've got a mobile QB the defense has to defend the field vertically side to side. This proves draining.

The quarterback has bitten back at Payton during games at times and it seems Payton appreciates that attitude, that he's a fierce rival. I think it's exciting for the coach to have a young quarterback that is similar to moldable clay. He can really build something up how he desires to build it. I believe it's a unique opportunity for the coach.

Payton owns a Super Bowl and now surpassed Bill Parcells in all-time victories (173 - tied 14th overall). He has witnessed everything. In my opinion the success the Broncos are having on offence is largely down to his guidance, his schemes, his game sense – and the combination with the QB helps shape him what he is.

There's no better a better guy in your ear, to assist you during difficult moments and build self-belief.

I have faith in Denver's defence, in Bo Nix's tenacity and composure. But are they strong enough to face a top squad at its best? Since that was not championship-level play from Philadelphia in their last game.

Right now, I don't think Denver are elite. They're performing above average, which is a solid position to hold their division. All they need is is maintain this trajectory.

They excel at embracing their forte, which is the ground game, and this is precisely what they must do against the Jets in London. It will likely be a Dobbins-focused game, in essence.

The Jets have allowed 140 rushing yards per game (sixth worst), five rushing touchdowns this season (in the bottom ten), and they are the sole squad yet to win a game.

Since the league started recording takeaways in 1933, this team are the first team to go without a single takeaway through five games, which is kind of shocking when you think that their new coach Aaron Glenn a defensive coach with another team.

Patrick Mahomes says the Chiefs have 'already lost too many games' after Monday's defeat by the Jaguars.

After this Sunday's game, the Broncos have a manageable slate until their bye (in week 12) - the Giants, the Cowboys, the Texans plus Las Vegas Raiders before the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the AFC West, Kansas City hold a losing record and the Broncos are tied with the Los Angeles Chargers on 3-2 meaning they could make a run for the top of the West.

It depends on which form Kansas City shows up they meet since Denver {beat|def
